Alto Adige Riesling "Berg"

Grape variety: 100% Riesling

Growing area: east-facing slope in Eppan Berg, “Untersteiner” vineyard at 600 m.a.s.l.

Soil: Loamy limestone gravel soils at the foot of the Mendel Mountains, with a dominant dolomite content.

Training system: Guyot with 6000-7000 vines/hectare

Yield: 45-50 hl/ha

Age of the vines: 20 years

Vinification:  fermentation in steel for about three weeks at a controlled temperature of 19-20°C, without malolactic fermentation. Ageing on the fine lees until spring.
